Started by Bettie Naylor six years ago, the Austin Habitat PRIDEbuild brings the fine LGBT people of Austin together to build HOMES, COMMUNITY and HOPE. We were the first Texas Habitat affiliate to hold a PRIDEbuild and are the only affiliate in the world to have continued the build year after year. Starting in March, we'll begin building a new home for a wonderful family, but first we need to raise the funds for the building materials. Our goal is $65,000 and we're well on our way, but we need your help -- both in donations and volunteering to build the house.
